The long-standing expertise and experience of the company’s executives in supply chain management, combined with their knowledge of the Cypriot market, have significantly contributed to the establishment of the company in providing third-party logistics services (Third Party Logistics Provider – 3PLP) and its Forwarding Department.

DIAPO operates six Storage and Distribution Centers across all districts of Cyprus, with the ability to manage products under four temperature conditions as follows:

• Freezing (-18 °C)
• Refrigeration (0 °C – 5 °C)
• Air-conditioned (16 °C – 20 °C)
• Ambient (< 25 °C)

Indicative categories of managed items include:

• Soft drinks/juices
• Dairy products
• Ice cream
• Food (dry, refrigerated, frozen)
• Mass catering products
• Electrical and electronic devices

With a fleet of 65 vehicles supporting the above temperature zones, DIAPO covers a significant number of retail points across Cyprus. The company has over 11,000 square meters of warehouse space and more than 8,000 pallet positions. Its largest Distribution Center is in Dali, built in 2008, covering 5,600 square meters with 6,600 pallet positions, and operates in two temperature zones: Air-conditioned and Ambient. The company employs around 120 people, including drivers/delivery personnel, machinery operators/ feeders pickers, warehouse managers, logistics offices, route planners, and administrative staff.

• Handling any returns and transporting them to distribution centers for sorting

 

Provision of Labeling Services

DIAPO offers labeling and repackaging services, such as applying labels to goods for marking purposes (Greek labeling or white label/barcode changes) and preparing bundle packs, shrink packs, price-off promotions, etc.

Provision of Forwarding Services

Since 2021, DIAPO has been offering international transportation services, customs clearance, and delivery. The International Transport Department team possesses extensive professional expertise and experience, enabling them to provide safe, cost-effective, and reliable sea and air transport services for the company’s clients worldwide. They handle collection and delivery of shipments according to customer needs, for both import and export, from terminal-to-terminal and door-to-door.

Specialized Technology

DIAPO operates its own WMS (Warehouse Management System), specifically the Logistician, developed by Dotlink S.A., a member of the FDL Group, tailored to 3PL needs. Additionally, DIAPO has invested in implementing the RTMOTO (Real-Time Monitoring On-Time Order) system for its distribution teams. RTMOTO is an Android-based smart application also developed by Dotlink S.A., used in the company’s commercial vehicles in Cyprus and Greece. It offers:

• Optimization of supply chain management (real-time order delivery status, partial or non-delivery info per product code).
• Effective customer service with real-time updates on order delivery status.
• Route tracking, data collection on travel time, distance, and CO2 emissions calculations.
